Workspace Community Rules of Conduct

Make sure that you understand and comply with the broader site license posted here: http://workspace.liveops.com/main/authorization/termsOfService

In addition, you must comply with the rules below when using the WorkSpace service.

1.     Be respectful of others, especially when disagreeing with them.

If everyone had the same opinion, the world we live in would not be a very interesting place.  When stating your opinion, please be prepared for others to disagree.  When you disagree with someone else please do so in a constructive, respectful way.  And remember do not post things just to irritate other people.

2.      Do not annoy others by posting the same thing again and again.

Repetitive posts, links, and pictures will be removed.  Remember that forcing your ideas on people by reposting will simply annoy them, but will not necessarily get them to agree.

3.     Do not ask other members for help in the form of money, gifts or donations.

4.     Do not identify a client by name unless you are positive doing so does not violate any confidentiality agreements you may be under contractual obligation to maintain. If you have any doubt, use a made up name such as client "XS" for example that cannot be identified as a specific person or company, provided that the specific person or company cannot be identified through other details in the post.

5.     Only post advertisements and promotions in designated areas.

Advertising includes, but is not limited to:

o    Work at home businesses

o    Products that you are selling (personal or professional)

o    Job opportunities

o    Promoting another website (personal, non-business websites are fine, anything else is not)

o    Promoting your entry in a contest (e.g., "Vote for my baby in the cutest baby contest on xyz. com!")

The only places on WorkSpace where it is acceptable to post advertisements and promotions are:

o   On your profile page

o   In groups that allow advertising and promotion

o   In messages to members who have explicitly asked for information on a business.

In addition, pyramid schemes are illegal and posting information about pyramid schemes in any forum on WorkSpace is prohibited.

6.     No adult content.

Please keep it professional, nothing here that you would not want your mother to know that you were saying or viewing.

7.     Do not share personal information about yourself or anyone else.

Also do not repost private group messages in public areas.  If they posted it privately, that was probably their intention.

8.     Help keep WorkSpace orderly by reporting any problems you see on the site including posts that violate these rules.

If you see something that violates these rules and it bothers you, then report it (http://liveops.ning.com/main/index/report) and it will be investigated. You don't need to report things multiple times or have your friends also report the same issue.

Violation of these Rules of Conduct may result in the suspension of your WorkSpace account based on the discretion of the WorkSpace team.
